Your town council has received a grant to improve a neglected public space, such as a park, a square or an area beside a river. The council has invited residents to submit proposals. Write a proposal describing the space you have chosen and its current problems, suggesting how the money should be spent, and explaining how the changes would benefit local people. Write your proposal in 220–260 words.
