The library in our town is in a building that is more than a hundred years old. Last year, the town council to close it because not many people used it. Lots of people were unhappy this news, so a group of parents and teenagers decided to help. They money by selling cakes and organising a fun run. Then they painted the walls and new chairs and lamps. Now the library has a games club on Fridays and a homework café after school. It is busier than before, and the council has changed its mind. "I'm so glad we didn't up," says one of the parents.
